Date TBD @ 9am- San Diego Planning Commission Meeting
The AT&T cell tower project will be heard next by the San Diego Planning Commission. Their next scheduled meeting is June 18, 2026, but we do not know yet if the AT&T cell tower project will be on the agenda for that meeting. The commission meets every third Thursday of the month at 9am.
Past Events
April 8, 2026 @ 6pm – Clairemont Planning Committee Meeting
The project was heard by the Clairemont Planning Committee, and they recommended that the project not be approved. However, their considerations are a recommended, but not required, part of the project review process. Other committees subsequently reviewing the project don’t have to adhere to the recommendation.
April 21, 2026 @ 6pm- Clairemont Planning Group Meeting
The project was heard by the Clairemont Planning Group. They also voted against allowing AT&T to put up the cell tower, but it is again a recommendation and not a final decision. Final decisions for this project will be made by the San Diego Planning Commission and the San Diego City Council.
May 31, 2026 @ 2pm- Protest at Gershwin Park
Thank you to everyone who joined concerned neighbors in protest of the cell tower! We had a great turnout, complete with family, friends, signs, and media coverage.
